Meet Your Coach

Andrew LeMasters

I began to lift weights in 2004 because I was tired of being weaker and smaller than all my friends. I started reading every fitness magazine and website I could find. I made a lot of progress during those first few years and I had friends start asking me to train them. I loved helping them get stronger and feel better.

Shortly after I began college in 2008, I met several intelligent strength coaches who challenged many of my training paradigms and introduced me to better informational sources and new training philosophies and methods. The mentorship I received from them was invaluable. During this time I also studied a variety of martial arts, and obtained my Blackbelt in Taekwondo.

In 2014 I was able to start coaching at an elite sports performance gym in South Florida where I was able to learn from more world-class coaches. In 2016, I open a new gym in Davie, Florida with the head coach from that facility. We were able to bring in more phenomenal coaches and foster an amazing culture of positivity and development. I believe my experience coaching alongside these superb coaches has been pivitol, but I have also studied in organizations such as Clean Health, NSCA, NASM, USCDKA, ViPR, and IoM. I’ve earned credentials including Biolayne Nutrition Level 1 & 2, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Senior Fitness Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and ViPR Pro Coach.

In 2020, I became more focused on nutrition, wellness, and longevity. I enjoy listening to experts, reading studies, and comparing research to help people make reasonable and practical changes in their habits and lifestyle. From building muscle or losing fat, to sleeping better or improving health, I want to thrive in my goals and help other people do the same. My goal is to be a clear, single-source to help you navigate the world of clickbait, conflicting data, fear-mongering, and information-overload.

When I’m not helping people reach their health and fitness goals, I’m probably at church or at home in Pembroke Pines with my wife, Meghan, and our three kids Penelope, Nora, and Theodore.
